Carlos Gil
In 2008 I founded JobsDirectUSA.com as a direct result of my job loss at AIG; since then I’ve gone on to be featured by CNNMoney.com in addition to numerous news media outlets across the U.S. for my contribution to helping the economy bounce back. Last year, I entered “The Influence Project” (A contest by Fast Company Magazine to discover “The Most Influential Person Online”) and came in at #39 out of nearly 33,000 entries. The Jacksonville Business Journal recently ranked my company #7 amongst the 25 leading staffing/employment firms in Northeast Florida. I attribute social media, a strong social-network of supporters, and passion for helping others for my quick success and turn around from the days of being jobless in America. – Carlos Gil
