Our client is a global holding company that produces customized solutions for healthcare companies ranging from small biotech enterprises to pharmaceutical giants.  The holding company is furthering its infra-structure by developing a comprehensive internal and external corporate communications team to work across the comprising business units.  Having hired the VP of External Communications and the Director of Internal Communications, the holding company now seeks to add two mid-level corporate comms specialists to its New York City based staff (7 to 10 years experience in a similar role at a PR agency or holding company/parent company ideal).  The individuals in these positions will work closely with both the External and Internal leads, and “own” the marketing, visibility, thought leadership and education communications areas.  In addition, this team will liaise with strategic account groups to:

• Develop and manage all marketing and collateral materials – corporate brochure, corporate presentations, advertisements
• Manage marketing fund of knowledge: portfolio of case studies, White Papers, publications, etc.
• Submits awards when appropriate
• Identify speaking venues, coordinate cross-company speaking calendar
• Prioritize sponsorship opportunities
• Provide trainings to various pillars about new products, services, promotional opportunities.

This is ideal for someone at the AS level with a Public Relations agency concentrating on corporate communications/internal communications who wants to work on the client side, but still have diverse “clients”, and concentrate on the writing/strategic/marketing side of communications rather than specializing in media relations.  Candidates must have 7 to 10 years directly applicable experience.  Ideal salary is in the $80,000 range.
