Our client is an investment management company headquartered in New York City with a global investment portfolio. The firm has an excellent reputation for integrity in both its product offerings and staff management, and is admired as a top financial firm to work for.  The company seeks a bright, ambitious IR professional looking to move to the client side as an Investor Relations Associate.  Candidates must have 2 to 5 years experience in the investor relations department of a publicly-traded REIT or working for an IR agency, directly for REIT clients, who knows the REIT "players" (analysts, investors, etc.). 

Responsibilities will include:

assisting in the development and maintenance of a company investor relations plan;

managing the investor relations portion of the company web site;

monitoring analyst reports and summarize them for senior management;

serving as point of contact for the investment community (buy-side, sell-side);

organizing conferences, road shows, earnings conference calls and investor meetings;

creating presentations and other communication materials for industry conferences, presentations to analysts, brokers and investors; performing comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation;

monitoring operational changes through ongoing contacts with company management, and developing investor relations messages based on these changes;

assisting in the production of the annual report, SEC filings and proxy statements;

establishing and maintaining relationships with stock exchange representatives; and

representing the views of the investor community to the management team.

Candidates must have 2 to 5 years experience in the investor relations department of publicly-traded REIT or working for an Investor Relations agency (or PR agency in an IR practice area) directly for REIT clients.  Salary to $80,000 plus unparalleled benefits.
