Job Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is to be responsible to lead the development and implementation of all mechanical design requirements for the project. The position requires experience with specifications, design drawings, and related mechanical calculations, as well as the ability to adapt to client specific specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Four year degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of progressive work experience on industrial projects is preferred.
- Experience with bulk material handling facilities and/or industrial facilities are preferred.
- Preparation and review of mechanical drawings, calculations and specifications
- Preparation and review of equipment quantities and listings
- Conceptual, preliminary, and final design of industrial bulk material handling facilities including unloading, conveying and loading systems in the bulk material handling industry including ship, barge, rail, and truck unloading and loading systems which include belt conveyors, drag conveyors, bucket elevators, and dust collection and suppression systems, compressed air and water piping
- Coordination and periodic direction of Designers and Drafters for coordinated design drawings.

Education Required:
- Four year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private), but also requires occasional travel to off-site work conditions.
- Field duties require outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
- Occasional international and domestic travel as required by project.
- Overtime may be required and is anticipated.
