DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directs the distribution center’s Risk Control activities
• Communicates to all levels of distribution associates risk control issues and objectives
• Manages the worker’s compensation process
• Acts as the primary interface with groups such as governmental agencies, insurance companies, etc.
• Coordinates fire prevention / protection in the distribution center
• Manages the Temporary Alternate Work program and medical case management programs
• Develops, facilitates and coordinates applicable training programs

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Four year degree or equivalent experience
• Professional certification, such as CSP and /or ARM preferred
• 3-5 years experience working in risk control functions
• Broad working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety, health, environmental and worker’s compensation laws and regulations
• Knowledge of medical, legal and hazardous chemical terminology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (multiple shift operation)
• Excellent PC skills required
• Proven abilities  in problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
