Powered Industrial Equipment Mechanic

Powered Industrial Equipment Mechanic, SUPERVALU the nation’s largest food distributer is looking for an experienced Mechanic, in their rapid growing Indianola MS distribution center.   The Equipment Mechanic will be responsible to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul powered pallet jacks, forklifts and other industrial equipment. The essential functions of the job include:

Responsibilities:

• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
• Dismantle and reassemble industrial powered equipment using hoists and hand tools
• Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose repair equipment
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on industrial equipment
• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Overhaul and test equipment to ensure operating efficiency
• Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Schedule maintenance for industrial equipment, and keep equipment service records

Qualifications

A minimum of two years verifiable mechanical experience in an industrial setting

Have own hand tools

Stable work experience
