This 15 year old agency, enjoying tremendous growth over the last 5 years, seeks a Group Manager for the consumer/corporate practice. All account work is STEEPED in high fashion equity, with focus on either diffusion lines or licenses— an understanding, interest and appreciation of fashion and beauty is a must.
Job Description:
The person in this position will serve as a leader, mentor and organizer for account teams, helping to facilitate output to clients.
The GM/AD will impart structure and best practices across the department, working with staff from the SAS to Coordinator levels on both day to day as well as bigger picture needs.
The person in this position will lead the organization of strategy and campaign development with the SVP, working to additionally develop team contribution.
The agency as well as the role is both media and events HEAVY.
Requirements:
At least 7-years PR experience, classical 'big agency' training preferable; knowledge of integrated/holistic corporate communications a plus.
Significant experience working on large brands, ideally global. Work with international markets a plus.
Senior level understanding of consumer media in all genres- Print, Broadcast and Online. Candidate should be able to bring significant relationships to the table.
Mastery of team organization and day to day output; Ability to multi-task and reprioritize quickly.
Ability to drive social media campaigns a MUST.
Well honed experience in CPG, luxury, retail, cosmetics, fashion, mass media or entertainment preferable.
Salary to $95,000 annually.
