Our Client is need of a Business Intelligence Developer to join a growing organization.   The BI Developer will design and build solutions used to assist end users with accessing critical data and information. The individual selected for this role will gather and document reporting requirements from end users and then design and build cubes as well as the front end tools (reports, dashboards, queries) that allow visibility of information.  

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Build relationships with end users to understand data needs and document user requirements
• Develop prototype solutions for end user validation
• Work closely with other team members to deliver effective BI solutions in a timely manner
• Deliver BI solutions that bring a new level of visibility into organizational key performance indicators
• Design and develop complex Microsoft SSRS reports and online interactive scorecards and dashboards utilizing effective visualization techniques
• Support and enable power users across the organization to complete ad-hoc reporting by developing the necessary tools (SSAS cubes and providing data extracts)
• Educate and advise internal clients on how to leverage available data, reports, and tools
• Be proactive in identifying reporting opportunities that can bring real time value and insights  
• Help maintain existing SSAS cubes and SSRS reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Strong SQL skills with experience writing Stored Procedures
• Knowledge or exposure to SQL Server 2005/2008; some SSIS experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
